Farmacaffley will hold its annual point-to-point on Saturday for the Tynan and Armagh Foxhounds, which has been taking place in the same field since 1895 making it one of the oldest point-to-points on the fixture list.

Farmacaffley Point-to-Point secretary, Brian Dougan, commented: “We have had a dry week so the track has dried up really well. Our confined hunt race has six entries in it which is always a great attraction for local race goers.

“On the day Jim McManus catering will be selling burgers and chips and Foster chocolates will also be in attendance with a stall. We will have our annual bar set up where you will be able to watch the Ireland V Wales rugby match which starts at 2:15pm.”
