GOLANDER was unable to land a blow over hurdles during the Summer, however prior to that, he had ended last season with a career best, as he was only narrowly touched off by Doitforjoe at Ballingarry. That horse has since franked the form by running out the wide-margin winner of maiden hurdle at Southwell. A return to that form should see Golander as the one to beat. Rocking Dj was not at his best last Sunday when pulling-up, however drier conditions should produce an improved showing from him, whilst the very lightly raced Wexford Bridge has his first start for new connections having finished second on the track in the past.
