The Donnchadh Doyle-trained CHOSEN PATH finished a close third in what looked a very competitive contest at Knockanard on his debut a fortnight ago. That race was over the shorter 2m4f trip and the extra half-a-mile should suit as he was staying-on all the way to the line. The French-bred Darius Des Bois was a final fence faller at Tallow when likely set for second and he can be expected to run well. Meanwhile, Global Racing was still going well on his debut against older horses on his debut in a British point at Barbury and it will be interesting how he fares here.
