SLIABH MHUIRE LASS looked an improved performer at Loughbrickland recently and having taken a notable step forward, she is taken to score here. Trained by Paurick O'Connor, the six-year-old pressed the winner all the way to the line on that occasion and showed a very likeable attitude. Gortnagirl has shown herself to be a progressive type and ran her best race to date when beaten just a head at Kilworth last month. It is very possible that she will take another step forward here and if doing so, is definitely a danger to the selection. Someone New, Woodfield Robin and Oscar Winner look the best of the remainder.
