SIR DES CHAMPS, a former Grade 1 winner and previous runner-up in a Cheltenham Gold Cup, has finished placed in each of his last three starts between the flags and enters the race in good form. Mart Lane has been a busty campaigner of late as he could turn out for the third week on the bounce, but he put his a bold showing at Loughanmore on Monday, although slightly flattered by the winning distance to an easy winner. Aces And Kings returns to defend his crown from 12 months ago, whilst the consistent Free Of Charge and Rosc Catha are other potentials.
