A wide-open looking race. KESTREL, a maiden winner last January, ran well when giving away weight to finish third on his debut in winners company at Cragmore in February and having previously run well around this course, he could start his new season off on a good note here. Crookesmoor was a recent maiden winner at Dromahane and he will have race fitness on his side. The mare Special Princess will be looking to improve upon her third-place finish in this race last year, whilst Redwood Castle can be expected to improve from his return at Dowth Hall.
