For Certified Hunters aged 5 years old and upwards only, maidens at starting, the property of subscribers holding a valid Hunter Ceertificate to the following Hunts: Duhallow, Avondhu, Kilworth & Araglen, Doneraile, Coolnakilla and Derrygallon. Mares Allowed 5lbs. For Novice Riders who, at the start of the day, have not ridden more than ten winners under any Rules of Racing of Steeplechasing, including Point to Point Steeplechases. (Prize Money €1500: 1st €1050, 2nd €300, 3rd €150)

LADY OF VENICE attempted to make all in a similar contest at Dromahane in November, and once being headed, she showed a game attitude to battle back and only narrowly missed out. She could well get her head in front here. Ballhoulihan has plenty of experience behind him, and this 10-year-old, who finished third in this race back in 2015, ran one of his better races at Nenagh last time out and would look the chief danger.
