Winners Race Confined Hunt Farmers
Confined Hunt Farmers Race for Certified Hunters aged 4 years old and upwards, the property of farmers living and farming in the Kildare Hunting District, to be defined by the Hunt Committee, and subscribers holding a valid Hunter Certificate to the Kildare Hunt, which have not won a race under the Rules of Racing or Steeplechasing other than Point to Point Steeplechases or Hunter Steeplechases. The holder of a Public Trainers Licence is not eligible to run a horse his own property in this race. No Penalties. Mares allowed 5lbs. 4-y-o Maidens Excluded.

Hasty Times and Enniskillen have dominated recent runnings of this race, and whilst the latter is entered to seek a third success in the race, it may be worth siding with his less exposed stable companion, ALPHA MALE. Formerly with Nicky Henderson, for whom the seven-year-old was placed five times under rules, the French-bred made a winning pointing debut at Borris before Christmas when getting the better of subsequent Tinahely scorer Lady Mangan. Say Geronimo had finished second at Tinahely three years ago, but is returning from a significant absence.
