COLONEL SAM was only headed on the run-in at Dowth Hall and will be fancied to go one place better in this contest. Ryans Fancy and Dream De Dream both won on that same card but step into winners company for the first time, as does Doubleubee, who was promoted to a winner after finishing second in the spring. Vinnies Nephue is therefore likely to be the main danger as he is proven in this grade.
