The Westerner gelding SLIEVEGAR was sent off as the favourite for his introduction back in the Spring at Tinahely, and whilst he was unable to converter that into a winning debut, it was a respectable effort. Carrolls Cottage brings the other piece of noteworthy form having finished fourth on his one and only previous outing at Ballycahane in early March. Many of the newcomers come from leading yards and will likely offer some of the greatest of opposition.
