SOME MAN suffered a surprise defeat when sent off as the odds-on favourite at Lisronagh last month. A line must surely be drawn through that run as it was too poor to be true and if he was to bounce back to the form that saw him defeat Poli Roi by 20 lengths at Kirkistown, he should be the one to beat. A Rated will provide a proper test for him if he is not back to that level as he has twice finished second in recent weeks following a win at Castlelands, whilst Thomas Shelby has also made the frame this season including in a big-field contest at Borris House before Christmas and is sure to in the mix once again.
