Open Lightweight Race Novice Riders
For Certified Hunters aged 4 years old and upwards, the property of subscribers to any Hunt in Ireland.
No Penalties. Mares allowed 5lbs. 4-y-o Maidens excluded. For Novice Riders who, on the Monday prior to the closing of entries, have not ridden more than fifteen winners under any Rules of Racing or Steeplechasing, including Point to Point Steeplechases. Riders who have not ridden more than 5 winners are entitled to a 5lb allowance.

SOME ARE LUCKY made a belated return to the winners enclosure just last Sunday at Rathcannon and whilst it may have only been a match race he comprehensively defeated an in-form rival to prove he is in good heart at present. The same can be said for A Rated who has twice finished second since winning at Castlelands and he should be right in the mix alongside Killultagh Vic who has finished in the first two in three of his last four starts.
