KARUMA GREY may not have got any further than the first fence on his debut at Loughrea, however the grey gelding, who comes with a notable price tag of E130,000 from the store sales, was clearly well fancied for his debut having been sent off as the even-money favourite. Japers Jack was only denied by two length on his debut in Ballycahane and that sees him stand out as an obvious danger of those with form, whilst there is a large number of newcomers entered and the market will give the best guide as to what is expected from them.
