CASTLEBAWN WEST was a horse with National aspirations after he beat the subsequent Aintree National hero Minella Times in the 2020 Paddy Power Chase when with Willie Mullins. Whilst not seen since then, his new trainer Colin McBratney has previous with horses from the Closutton team. There will be as much interest in how Samcro fairs on his return to the pointing fields after loosing his way on the track of late. Both horses hold alternative options at Portrush on Saturday, which may leave Visioman and previous course winner Visioman as leading contenders.
