Runners from the Caroline McCaldin stable have started the new season particularly well and her Ballyrashane did finish placed on the opening day of the season at Toomebridge. The form of the race did take a knock when the horse he finished directly in front of was beaten by 29 lengths in Tinahely, but that would still leave him with the strongest form entering this. Jet Patrol is the big eye-catcher of those others with previous form. He was sent off as the favourite for a big-field maiden at Lingstown in March and although falling early that market confidence should be notes especially with the stable producing a Tinahely double last Sunday.
