No Penalties. Mares allowed 5lbs. For Novice Riders who, at midnight on the Monday prior to the closing of entries, have not ridden more than fifteen winners under any Rules of Racing or Steeplechasing, including Point to Point Steeplechases. Riders who have not ridden more than 5 winners are entitled to a 5lb allowance.

THE JAM MAN impressed when getting the better of Dinny Lacey on his stable debut in Ballindenisk earlier this month and it could be worth siding with the former Troytown Chase winner here. His stablemate Dont Matter Now was an early casualty at Aghabullogue on his first start in open company, but is a solid back up option his the Queally team. De Nordener has an easier option in winners-of-three company at Tyrella but is in great form, with Plan Of Attack running solid races in defeat this season.
