For Certified Hunters aged 5 years old and upwards only, maidens at starting, the property of subscribers holding a valid Hunter Certificate to the following Hunts: Duhallow, Derrygallon and Doneraile, and in the owners possession before 1st September, 2024. Owners to be resident in the Duhallow Hunt area. Entries at discretion of the Hunt Committee. Mares Allowed 5lbs. For Novice Riders who, at midnight on the Monday prior to the closing of entries, have not ridden more than fifteen winners under any Rules of Racing or Steeplechasing, including Point to Point Steeplechases. Riders who have not ridden more than 5 winners are entitled to a 5lb allowance.

Having finished placed in four races last spring, SOUTHERN POINT has shown that he is well up to winning a race of this nature, and his first outing in hunt company should be rewarded. Song For My Father has been out of luck of late, and he was still very much involved when falling three-out in a similar contest around here last month to leave him as the big danger.
