Winners Race Confined Hunt Farmers
Confined Hunt Farmers Race for Certified Hunters aged 4 years old and upwards, the property of farmers living and farming in the Kildare Hunting District, to be defined by the Hunt Committee, and subscribers holding a valid Hunter Certificate to the Kildare Hunt, which have not won a race under the Rules of Racing or Steeplechasing other than Point to Point Steeplechases or Hunter Steeplechases. The holder of a Public Trainers Licence is not eligible to run a horse his own property in this race. No Penalties. Mares allowed 5lbs. 4-y-o Maidens Excluded.

FOUNTAIN HOUSE has come a long way since finishing third in the older maiden on this card last year, including finishing a fine second in the Ladies Cup at the festival last year. He has gone from strength to strength this season and is likely suited by the return to three miles here. Kap Dange is a very interesting contender on his return from an absence, as he had a subsequent Grade 2 winner behind him when landing a four-year-old maiden on debut in Ballycahane almost two years ago. He has not been seen since, but he would have to be a big player, whilst Gale Force Jet represents the same owner-trainer combination that won the Bishopscourt Cup at the festival last year, and he comes into this having won his last two.
