Sam Curling has saddled winners at the opening two fixtures in the region in recent weeks, and Depalma could be his best chance of continuing that on this card. The six-year-old went close in a maiden hurdle at Wexford last year and is interestingly on stable debut in this. Colvin has the benefit of recent race fitness as he made a promising introduction to this division at Portrush last week, and must rank as a danger.
