For Certified Hunters aged 5 years old and upwards only, maidens at starting, the property of subscribers holding a valid Hunter Certificate to the following Hunts: Avondhu (F), Coolnakilla (H), Derrygallon (H), Doneraile (H), Duhallow (F) and Kilworth & Araglen (H). Mares Allowed 5lbs.
For Novice Riders who, at midnight on the Monday prior to the closing of entries, have not ridden more than fifteen winners under any Rules of Racing or Steeplechasing, including Point to Point Steeplechases. Riders who have not ridden more than 5 winners are entitled to a 5lb allowance.

TAKIWATANGA sports the same silks that were victorious in this race ten years ago by Harry The Lemmon, and he could repeat the feat in this, having acquitted himself well on his stable debut at Tallow. That was also his first outing in this sphere, and despite his flat pedigree, he more than suggested he would be up to winning a race like this having kept on for third. Time To Invest could be turned out quickly after running well on debut at Knockanard in a similar contest last week, whilst Annie Questions has changed stables since running on the track at Wexford last summer, and she has plenty of previous placed efforts to her name.
