Thunder And Roses second on debut for I.N.S. Racing at Boulta

The 2015 Irish Grand National winner ran his first race in the I.N.S. Racing silks when running a fantastic second at Boulta Point to Point on Sunday 16th December.

Given plenty of time to get into the race by jockey Barry O’Neil, he finished the race off strongly, only to be beaten by 3 lengths.

Trainer Ross O’Sullivan was delighted with the horse, who jumped superbly the whole way round and it was great to see him enjoy himself and run with such enthusiasm.

Conditions were very testing with the soft ground, but his performance gives plenty of options going forward. The plan is to hopefully qualify for him for Cheltenham and Aintree next year all being well.

Thunder And Roses is the first National Hunt horse in training for I.N.S. Racing. It is hugely exciting oppurtunity to have a horse of his calibre and to be going grass roots racing is a fantastic experience for everyone involved.

Connections are thrilled with the run and it certainly gives great encouragement going into the New Year.
