Milan enjoyed a five-timer at Irish point meetings last weekend

Milan's produce recorded success over the weekend with a total of five winners. The Grade 1 winning son of Sadler's Wells stands at Grange Stud for a 2019 fee of €8,000.

The sire's first winner of the weekend came on Saturday at Kirkistown, when Mr Hendricks scored a 15-length victory for Kate Harrington and Barry O'Neill. The five-year-old gelding will now head to the Cheltenham Festival Sale taking place after racing on Thursday.

Rosfoyle recorded success in the winners of two at Belclare on Sunday for Aidan Fitzgerald and Richie Deegan. The seven-year-old mare has produced two wins to date this season for owner Declan O'Keeffe.

Rebel Leader also secured success at Belclare for Norman Lee on her debut in the five-year-old and upwards adjacent maiden. The mare is the first foal out of Chicharito's Gem and is a full sister to Taking Stock, winner of three national hunt races for John Kiely and JP McManus.

Festival Opera recorded an impressive 15-length victory in the banks' race at Lingstown for Philip Dempsey. The eleven-year-old gelding owned by Denis Beary will now be aimed for the Ladies Cup race at Punchestown.

Milan's fifth winner of the weekend came at Turtulla when Maifitz's Madonna scored a six-length success in the five-year-old and upwards mares for Gerard Kelleher and Michael O'Sullivan.

Milan's pointing progeny have also gone on to enjoy success on the track. The sire has produced the likes of Martello Tower, Sizing Granite and Monalee.

Martello Tower is a seven-time winner on the track for Mags Mullins including Grade 1 success at the Cheltenham Festival in the Albert Bartlett in 2015 and Grade 3 success in the EBF novice hurdle at Cork and the Cliona's Foundation novice hurdle at Limerick in 2014.

The bay gelding won his debut point at Ballyragget back in March 2013.

Sizing Granite won the Grade 1 Maghull novice's chase at Aintree in 2015 for Henry De Bromhead. The gelding unseated rider Paul Power on his point debut at Athlacca back in May 2012 for De Bromhead.

Henry De Bromhead also enjoyed success with another of Milan's progeny, Monalee. The bay gelding won the Red Mills chase at Gowran Park at the end of February this year and is entered up for both the Ryanair Chase and the Gold Cup at Cheltenham this week.
