Seven declared for Downpatrick Hunters Chase

Seven horses have been declared for the Molson Coors Maiden Hunters Chase, run over 2m7f at Downpatrick’s Friday fixture, which will see dual Grand National winner Tiger Roll paraded between racing.

The Peter Maher trained Change Your Story finished fourth at the Punchestown festival recently and is sure to be well fancied under Patrick Mullins here.

Crutches Lad bid to continue the fantastic run of form for handler Willie Murphy this season and James Kenny retains the mount on the dual winner between-the-flags, who was successful at Stradbally last month.

The Dot Love – trained Fiddler Of Dooney has filled the runner-up berth in the points sphere twice already this season, however the son of Yeats bid to bounce back from a disappointing run last time at Punchestown here.

My Oaklahome
and Nabraska have both broken their maiden tags this season and these two six-year-old's could have a role to play here.

While Gabrielleamee is a seven-time point-to-point winner and is by far the most experienced runner in the field. The consistent ten-year-old won last time out at Lisronagh and could take all the beating here under Sheila Ahearne.

The Enda Bolger and Ray Barron combination enjoyed a fantastic Punchestown festival and the duo team up with Different Spot here who could also put his experience to good use.
