Irish Point to Pointers have enjoyed a notable run of success since the beginning of the NH season which was highlighted by a terrific opening weekend in November where 21 former pointers were successful.
This merely followed on from the record breaking success they enjoyed in October where 139 races were won by former Irish Point to Point graduates.
The previous record for October was 128 which was achieved back in 2013 but this was surpassed this year by eleven further wins.
October highlights included Grade 3 success for Jan Maat (H De Bromhead), Flash The Steel (D Skelton). Cabaret Queen won the Grade A Munster National for Willie Mullins while Lakemilan was a Grade B winner for Terence O’Brien.
Listed success for Western Victory (D Queally), Jarveys Plate (Fergal O’Brien), Listen Dear (W P Mullins), Champagne Classic (G Elliott) was also supported by some smart performing winners such as Battleoverdoyen, Know The Score, Ard Abhainn, Mount Ida, Imperial Flem, Peregrine Run, Castlebrook and Black Op who could all be competing in black type company in the near future.
