Race 1: Goffs 4yo Mares Maiden
DAME DE RUBAN could well be a warm order for this after she finished third on her debut for the Declan Queally yard in what looked a very competitive contest at Knockinroe a fortnight ago.
Her former stablemate Queens Brook, and Overnight Success, a half-sister to Samcro that was a beaten favourite on her debut, would seem the likely threats.
Race 2: Tattersalls Ireland 4yo Geldings Maiden
LIFETIME AMBITION lost out with a slower leap at the last in a competitive Loughanmore maiden a fortnight ago when making his debut and so a big performance will be expected from him here.
For The Cause came down at the last in another division of the four-year-old at Loughanmore and should also figure here, whilst Dare To Begin, who was just two lengths behind a more experienced sort at Portrush, and the returning Brother Byrne was a late casualty at Tyrella on his penultimate start are other notable names from a big entry.
Race 3: Mikey Ryans Bar & Kitchen 5yo Mares Maiden
SHALLOW RUN has been a beaten favourite on three out of her last four outings, one of which came for Cormac Farrell since joining his stable from Colin Motherway and this would look to be her best opportunity to date.
Knisis Magic has not been seen since finishing third as a four-year-old at Ballingarry well over a year ago, whilst Pay The Woman ran well for a long way at Liscarroll before weakening in the closing stages which she was entitled to do on her debut.
Race 4: Farm Ed Ltd 5yo Geldings Maiden
It was no surprise that ELMDALE went off as the favourite at Loughanmore two weeks ago, having chased home subsequent sales topper Do You Job at Castletown-Geoghegan on the opening weekend of the season.
Whilst he may only have made it as far as the fourth fence at the Antrim course most recently, he can make amends here.
Beatthebullet and Song Of The Hunter could re-oppose here and there was precious little separating them in a small field event at Dowth Hall and they are others to watch.
Race 5: Tim Bourke & Associates Ltd & Thomastown Castle Training Stables Mares Open
LONGHOUSE MUSIC suffered her first defeat for six starts when defeated by Holycross Lito at Loughanmore last month. With that rival not featuring here, she could be able to regain the winning thread by winning this race for the second year in succession.
Her biggest challenge could well come for the 2017 winner of this race in the returning Chapter Two.
The Cork handicap hurdle victor has already proven herself against geldings in open company and has an interesting previous victory over Holycross Lito.
Hat-trick seeking Rosfoyle would look best of the rest.
Race 6: Hotel Minella 6yo Maiden (Nov Rdrs)
STEELERS APPEAL has not been seen since finishing third at this fixture 12 months ago on what was his stable debut. On that occasion, he was just over three lengths behind Sidetrack, who rose through the ranks to win in open company and chase home Aintree Foxhunters runner-up Burning Ambition in a Down Royal Hunter Chase.
That would seem to be the standout piece of form in this.
Personal Coach was only beaten by a length at Loughanmore, and so has the advantage of recent race fitness, whilst Quill Road could also get involved at his best.
