Race 1 - The Ryan Cusack Meomrial and Tattersalls Ireland 5yo Geldings Maiden
With two strong placed efforts to his name from before Christmas, this could well prove to be an ideal opportunity for ERNE RIVER to get his head in front.
Will Carver took a step forward at Dromahane over Christmas to ensure he could be a potential threat, as too could fellow northern raider, Ballydam. He got among the placings at Loughrea back in October, before disappointing subsequently at Damma House.
Race 2 - Sandra Russell 5yo+Confined Maiden
DYNAMIC STAR has not proven to be the most consistent of horses in the past, with more non-completions to his name than finishes, however a race like this will provide him with an ideal opportunity as he did finish a respectable fourth at Nenagh back in February when with Niall Kelleher.
Daicheadacuig has been competing in four-year-old races of late and should find things easier here, whilst Miss Queen Bee progressed to finish sixth at Ballindenisk earlier in the month.
Race 3 - GAIN Equine Nutrition 5yo+ Mares Maiden
TIMEADAY posted another solid effort at Tinahely earlier in the month and she is sure to once again be in the mix here. Dixie Down is an interesting newcomer that is a full-sister to the 135-rated track winner Ready And Able, whilst Russian Gesture was not without chances when exiting late at Dromahane.
Race 4 - Hinchys Garage Open
STAND UP AND FIGHT had to settle for second in this race 12 months ago, but he will be looking to kickstart his new season by going one better in this years renewal.
Black Hercules faded in the closing stages at Down Royal over Christmas but went close at Boulta on his Open debut, whilst Lite Duties won well at Aghabullogue and Reigning Supreme put in two very smart efforts in defeat last month and it would be no surprise to see him put up a big effort in this.
Race 5 - Kirbys Pharmacy Winner Of Three
ALONEAMONGMILLIONS has taken all before him this season and it will take a very big performance from his rivals here to inflict a first defeat on him. Lough Derg Lyric and Alkaa Lion are two very solid types in winners company that have been competing at a higher level in open company more recently.
They should be more at home in this company, whilst Super Citizen has been very consistent to date and has to be considered after his third at Limerick over Christmas.
Race 6 - Pegus Horse Feed 6yo+ Geldings Maiden
ONE MORE LIFE features in older maiden company for the first time in his career, and it should provide him with the opportunity to gain a deserved success following two previous placed efforts.
One For The Yard was only reeled in late at Aghabullogue and is a big danger, alongside another who tried to win from the front most recently in Time Leader. He was second at Dromahane over Christmas, whilst Choctaw Brave is another that has proven himself in the past.
