Race 1 - Tinnakill House 4yo Maiden
Denis Murphy and Colin Bowe have already had four-year-old success this year, and with both yards very strongly represented by 11 horses between them, the market should prove the best guide to this bunch of newcomers, in what should be an interesting contest.
Race 2 - The Old Road Stud & GAIN Equine Nutrition 5&6yo Mares Maiden
ROSA GLORIOSA ran with lots of promise on her last start at Kinsale back in June when she finished second to Presenting Ana.
Despite the lack of a recent run, she should be able to give a good account of herself in this contest, whilst No Fame No Game and Idsayso both have some recent creditable runs to their names of late, and any market moves should be noted.
Race 3 - Goffs UK Aintree Sale 5yo Geldings Maiden
SUNSET WEST gets the nod in this contest following his two very much promising starts to date, and a similar effort could see him make the frame and make it to the winners enclosure on this occasion.
The locally trained Arvicta showed some promise on his last start in Aghabullogue, whilst others for the shortlist are Oscar Elite and The Whistle Blower.
Race 4 – Coolmore Stud National Hunt Division 6yo+ Geldings Maiden
ZIHUATANEJO is coming back from what is a long layoff of 22 months. However, if the son of Flemensfirth recaptures his old form, he will certainly be the horse to beat in this contest.
Rwegoinhigh finished second last weekend at Ballyvodock and is sure to have his supporters following that promising effort.
Race 5 - Rathbarry & Glenview Stud Open
ARCTIC SKIPPER remains unbeaten this season in open company, and despite a disappointing run in a hunter chase over the Christmas, connections can be hopeful that he could prove hard to beat in this contest.
Lite Duties, Bandon Bridge, and Macs Legend have all been winners of late, and they all look to be the biggest dangers to Arctic Skipper.
Race 6 - The Goulding Family & The John Connery Family (Aglish) & BH Tree Services 5yo+ Adjacent Maiden
RWEGOINHIGH finished a creditable second last week for the Townend team at Ballyvodock, and a reproduction of that effort should see him there or thereabouts on this occasion. Baron Du Plessis and Arvicta have both finished third recently, they are both sure to have their supporters on the day.
