Weekend Preview | Kildorrery 23rd February 2020

Race 1 - GAIN Equine Nutrition & The Vaughan Family 5&6yo Mares Maiden

ROSA GLORIOSA gets the nod on this occasion, following a solid effort at Kinsale back in June where she finished second to Presenting Ana, beaten just three quarters of a length on that occasion for the local Marie Harding team. Others to note are Aizy Does It, Pay The Woman, and Slideaway who have all ran with promise to date, and any market moves could be worth following.

Race 2 – Hanleys Butchers Mitchelstown 5yo Geldings Maiden

MISTER SWEETS should be able to go one spot better this time around for the Andrew Slattery team, having finished second on both of his starts to date, most recently at Carrigarostig where he was just six lengths behind A Distant Place on that occasion. Macs Charm and Salute The King look the most obvious dangers, and they will have their supporters.

Race 3 - Bluegrass Horse Feeds & Munster Van Centre 5yo Adjacent Maiden - Nov Riders

ONE MORE LIFE has been getting close of late, finishing second recently at Dungarvan in late January, and a reproduction of that effort could see him go one spot better on  this occasion. Springfield Lodge and Honest To Goodness have both shown promise on their recent starts and they look the biggest dangers to Paul Cashman-trained selection.

Race 4 - John McSweeney Livestock Haulier & Amber Oil Open

IT CAME TO PASS finished third in this contest last year behind Macs Legend, and has done a lot since then including winning at Lismore and Dromahane, before winning hunter chases at Killarney and Cork. He failed to backup those efforts in his previous two starts but looks the one that they all have to beat on this occasion. His stablemate, Super Citizen could well be the biggest danger along with the Jim Dreaper-trained Complete Sizing.

Race 5 - Crossmore Tyre Recycling & STR Scrap Metal Dealers & Thorn Hill Opticians Winner Of Three

TEMPLEBREDIN has been a model of consistency this season, most recently winning at Ballyvodock where he beat Entre Deux by three and a half lengths. There should be no reason why a reproduction of that effort would not see him involved, whilst Fill The Tank, Sovereign Gold and Super Citizen look the biggest dangers.

Race 6 - Rathbarry Stud & Dairygold 6yo Geldings Maiden

RWEGOINHIGH has been going close of late, finishing second at Tallow just two weeks ago to Zihuatanejo, beaten just a length and a half, and could well go one spot better this time around. Dower Caves, Oneida, and Smokin Vinnie look the most obvious dangers.
