Eklat De Rire registered his third victory in a row with an impressive performance in the Naas Business Club Grade 3 Novice Chase at Naas on Sunday afternoon.
The Henry de Bromhead trained seven-year-old put in an solid round of jumping in the hands of Rachael Blackmore. The gelding stayed on gamely from the last fence to see off the Gordon Elliott trained Escaria Ten.
The son of Saddex was last seen at Punchestown when winning his beginners chase by three and a half lengths when defeating School Boy Hours.
Eklat De Rire started his career between the flags when winning his maiden at Dromahane for handler Liz Doyle. He was subsequently purchased by agent Alex Elliott for £110,000 at the Tattersalls Cheltenham November Sale.
