Rob James continued with his rich vein of form when registering his 300th point-to-point winner aboard his own Jingko Blue who ran out a strong winner of the four-year-old maiden at Oldtown on Saturday afternoon.
Since his first winner aboard Amber Hill at Tinahely in 2012 he has progressed through the ranks and is currently the 11th winning most point-to-point rider, just six shy of John Berry’s record of 306 winners.

Other big supporters of rider include Colin Bowe, David Christie and Sean Doyle.
The Wexford native has been associated with some pretty decent top performers over the years, which include, Shishkin, Topofthegame, Classicgetaway, Dlauro, Fact To File and Gentlemansgame just to name a few.
He has also shown his talent on the track winning the Kim Muir for Gordon Elliott aboard Milan Native at the Cheltenham Festival and also claimed the Scottish Grand National aboard Win My Wings in 2022.
