Colin Bowe enjoyed another successful season with 42 winners and will be crowned leading handler for the thirteenth time and his tenth consecutive win since 2015.

His final winner of the season came with Belle Star Outlaw, who ran out a very impressive winner of the five-year-old mares maiden at Ballingarry on Saturday.

He provided five riders with winners this season, Barry O’Neill, Bertie Finn, Rob James, Eoin Stables and Jack Hendrick.

Colin Bowe got hunter certs for 148 horses this season, Sean Doyle was the second highest with 79 Hunter Certs.

He had two seasons where he finished on 46 winners, just one shy of Robert Tyner’s record of 47 winners in 2009.

The point-to-point handler award was introduced in 2008 and Bowe won his first title in 2010.

Colin will be presented with his trophy at the 44th annual GAIN point-to-point awards, which take place at the Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny, on Saturday, June 7th. Tickets can be purchased here.
