Cold snap cancels weekend pointing fixtures

There will be no point-to-point action this weekend following the news that both of Sunday's fixtures have been cancelled.

Both Ballindenisk and Tinahely were found to be unfit for racing on Saturday afternoon, and with an unfavourable weather forecast for Saturday night and Sunday morning, with a status yellow Low Temperature / Ice warning from Met Éireann, the decision was made to cancel both fixtures.

Updates on rescheduling will follow.
