Stallions

Primary's progeny enjoyed pointing success last weekend.

Primary's progeny recorded two winners at point-to-points last weekend, one a piece at Lingstown and Lismore.

Standing at Knockmullen House Stud, Primary was a Grade 3 winning horse with placings at Grade 1 level. The stallion is by Giant's Causeway out of Prospective who is a half-sister to the Classic winner Commendable.

To date, the 16-year-old has had four-point winners this season, two of which were last weekend.

Success in the five-year-old geldings at Lingstown on Sunday went to Costalotmore for handler/rider Mark Scallan. This was the bay geldings third point start of the season for owner Desmond Ellard.

Primary also produced the winner of the five-year-old and upwards confined maiden at Lismore. Shanacoole Prince recorded a five-length success here for Paul Tobin and owner Paddy Kelleher. The six-year-old gelding was third on his last start at Boulta.

Primary's point progeny There Is No Doubt has gone on to perform well on the track. Recording two wins to date for Shane Crawley. Most recently the chestnut gelding won the Xenon Security handicap hurdle at Gowran Park on Saturday 9th March.

There Is No Doubt fell on his four-year-old debut at Ballysteen back in April 2017 for handler Augustine Leahy.

Primary also produced the track winner First Flow. Trained by Kim Bailey the seven-year-old won on three occasions last season including the Grade 2 Sky Bet Supreme Trial novices' hurdle at Haydock, the Stonegate Homes novices' hurdle at Lingfield and the Betfred Introductory hurdle at Newbury.
