Race 1: Goffs UK Aintree Sale 4yo Maiden
The Warren Ewing-trained Favori De Champdou and Fort Summer bring the strongest form into the race having both finished placed on their respective debuts at Kirkistown and Ballycahane in recent weeks. The market will give the best guide as to what can be expected from the many newcomers.
Race 2: Topline Burtons, Kanturk 5yo Mares Maiden
HOWYA HUN ran one of her best races when pitched in against previous winners at Lingstown recently, and she ran a fine race to finish a close third. Back among fellow maidens, she could be the one to watch in this.
The Sam Curling-trained Forthegreatergood has been forced to settle for second on her two outings this year. However she was only narrowly denied on both occasions, and is sure to be bang there once again. The twice-placed Frilly Frock is another that has figured in the past.
Race 3: Sygma Automation Winner Of One
The Richard Black-trained CASEY JEM was left clear at the final fence in Tallow last month, which allowed him to win by a distance. He put up a big performance on that occasion, and is the obvious selection for this as a result.
Ballyvodock winner Bright Rhett has made the frame in each of his last four starts and came up against a smart last time, whilst the mare Whatsdastory was a late faller at Nenagh when running a big race against geldings.
Race 4: FarmFirst Insurance 5yo Geldings Maiden
BRIEF AMBITION looked all over the winner coming to the final fence in a big field maiden at Punchestown on his debut, however a slow leap at the last proved costly and he was forced to settle for third. Barrowlands is the obvious alternative as he has been knocking on the door for some time, and only went down by a neck to the subsequent Lismore winner Notice To Close at Knockanard last month.
Keep Wondering has likeable four-year-old form from Oldcastle but slipped up on his return recently, whilst Mighty Altogether was not beaten too far at Boulta on his penultimate start.
Race 5: Exors of late Dr. R.J. Sheehy 6yo Mares Maiden
WEST VINTAGE looked the likely winner entering the home straight at Knockanard, however she ran off the course and stopped to a near walk approaching the final fence, before only missing out by a neck in the end. She would be a deserving winner.
Some Bite had a hard race at Ballyarthur when only beaten by a length in a slow motion finish and if not inconvenienced by the quick turnaround, she would be a danger. Honest To Goodness, who ran her usual good race in the adjacent at Kildorrery, is another contender.
Race 6: Collins Bros Garage, Liscarroll 6yo Geldings Maiden
ROBIN IS READY came up against more experienced types when he made his debut at Templencarriga in January and with that promising introduction under his belt, he could prove to be the one to beat for the Denis Leahy yard.
The Bonny Boy was a beaten favourite at Belclare a fortnight ago and is back out of hunt company here, whilst De Barley Basket is well related and he too could be of interest representing an in-form stable.
