Closing date for Down Royal Hunters Chase

Entries for the Down Royal Hunters which takes place on Monday 6th May, close at 12 noon on Wednesday 1s May.

Declarations to run must be made by 10am on Saturday 4th May.

F 4:30 PM The C&C White Maiden Hunters Steeplechase of €10,000
Winner will receive €6,000 (Penalty Value: €5,900) Second will receive €2,000 Third will receive €1,000 Fourth will receive €500 Fifth will receive €300 Sixth will receive €200

A steeplechase for † Certified Hunters four years old and upwards that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing and that have between 19th September, 2020 and 30th April, 2024 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Point-To-Point Steeplechase in Ireland or second, third or fourth in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase in Ireland.

€90 to enter, €10 extra if declared to run
Weights: 4-y-o....................................10st 13lbs
5-y-o and up ...............................................12st
Mares allowed ............................................ 7lbs
Riders: Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules.
 

† A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2023/2024 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Offices of the I.N.H.S. Committee, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than 30th April or the horse will not be qualified to start.
