Weatherbys ITBA NH Fillies Bonus Scheme entries closing soon

The ITBA NH Committee established its highly successful self-help scheme in 2013, one of the main objectives was to enhance the prices of fillies at store sales and encourage breeders to return their fillies in training.

The ITBA scheme pays out a bonus of €5,000 to any eligible filly who win their Mares only maiden bumper, maiden hurdle and beginners’ steeplechase.

Therefore, each filly has the opportunity to win a minimum of €15,000 without deduction on top of the prize money.

In 2024 the scheme was amended to promote IRE bred fillies by boosting their first bonus win - Any IRE bred filly entered in the scheme will receive a €7500 payment when winning her first bonus, and €5000 for each bonus thereafter.

The scheme includes a number of mares Handicap Hurdles throughout the year for Fillies that have not won a bonus previously and also supports the Connolly’s RED MILLS Irish EBF Auction Race Series. To date we have paid out over € 3.6 million in bonuses to winning owners.

To enter, Fillies must be : • 3YO+ • IRE bred • Unraced under rules at the Closing date (30th September) If your filly meets the above criteria and you wish to make her eligible for up to €17500 in deduction free bonuses on the track for a once off payment of €300, please contact Danielle Deveney @ ITBA on 085 775 0330 or ddeveney@itba.ie
