Entries for the hunters chase at Thurles, close on Tuesday 14th January at 12 noon.  The meeting itself takes place on Sunday 19th January.

Declarations to run must by made by 10am Friday 17th January.

Winner will receive €6,000 (Penalty Value: €5,900), Second will receive €2,000, Third will receive €1,000, Fourth will receive €500, Fifth will receive €300, Sixth will receive €200

A steeplechase for † Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have between 25th September, 2021 and 13th January, 2025 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Steeplechase confined to Certified Hunters in Ireland or in a Point-To-Point Steeplechase in Ireland and that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing since 1st March, 2024 other than Certified Hunters Steeplechases or Farmers Races

€90 to enter, €10 extra if declared to run
Weights: 5-y-o ................................... 10st 13lbs
6-y-o and up......................................... 11st 7lbs
Mares allowed............................................. 7lbs

† A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2024/2025 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Offices of The INHSC, The Curragh, Co. Kildare, not later than 13th January or the horse is not qualified to start.
