There will be a big-money purse up grabs for owners and handlers of older maiden horses, thanks to a generous bonus that is being put up by the Piegon Hill and Carrigtwohill point-to-point committee.

They will offer a €1,500 bonus to the winning owner of the six-year-old and upwards maiden at their point-to-point in Ballyvodock on Sunday, February 2nd.

This will be in addition to the standard prize money already available for the race, ensuring a great result for the winning connections.

Entries for the race close on Tuesday, January 28th, via Catherine O’Driscoll on 089-2280768 or Corkwaterfordp2p.ie.
