Kildorrery rescheduled to Saturday, but Tinahely abandoned

The IHRB have confirmed that last Sunday’s cancelled fixture at Kildorrery has been rescheduled to this coming Saturday, March 1st.

When inspected on Sunday morning, parts of the course were found to be unfit for racing, which resulted in the fixture being called off. However, it will now be held six days later than scheduled, with the original entries standing.

The addition of Kildorrery brings this weekend’s programme of fixtures to five. There is a double-header on Saturday with Tyrella and Kildorrery, whilst Sunday’s action will take place at Ballycahane, Bandon and Borris House.

The Bray Harriers fixtures Tinahely also fell foul of the heavy rain yesterday; however, as that was already a rescheduled fixture, it has now been abandoned, with the entries being refunded.
