18 initial entries for the Goffs Aintree Sale, which will be held after racing on Thursday 3 April at Aintree’s Randox Grand National Festival, are now available to view online. Further entries will be released following this weekend’s racing.
Now in its eighth year, the Goffs Aintree Sale is well established as a world-class source of Grade 1 winners – having produced six since its inception in 2016, with four of those Grade 1 winners having won at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals. The sale’s most recent star is the highly promising chaser and dual Grade 1 winner CROKE PARK (pictured above). Trained by Gordon Elliott for Gigginstown House Stud, the son of Walk In The Park has won three of his chase starts with victories in the Gr.1 Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse and the Gr.1 Long Distance Novice Chase at Leopardstown.
The 2025 sale will be held in the winners’ enclosure after racing on Thursday 3 April and inspections will be open from Wednesday 2 April from 1pm. An additional, and final, batch of entries will be released online next Monday 31 March. The current 18 entries are:

Goffs UK Managing Director Tim Kent commented:
“We market the Goffs Aintree Sale as world-class as it has proven, time and again, its ability to produce Grade 1, festival quality horses. The inaugural sale produced the multiple Grade 1 winner Samcro, who went on to claim two Cheltenham Festival victories, and he is one of four graduates to have claimed wins at the much-coveted Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals. With only seven boutique catalogues offered since the sale’s debut in 2016 – the sale has an outstanding strike rate for producing horses of the highest calibre.
“The initial entries for next week’s sale make for another quality renewal and we expect to add more top-class UK and Irish point-to-point winners following the 12 point-to-point meetings in the UK and Ireland this weekend. The final entries will be released online next Monday and we look forward to seeing everyone at the Randox Aintree Grand National Festival.”
