Entries for the Thurles Hunters Chase on Thursday 29th January, close on Thursday 22nd January at 12 noon.

Winner will receive €6,000 (Penalty Value: €5,900) Second will receive €2,000 Third will receive €1,000 Fourth will receive €500 Fifth will receive €300 Sixth will receive €200 

 
A steeplechase for † Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have not won a race, including races under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing, and that have between 1st October, 2022 and 21st January, 2026 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Point To-Point Steeplechase in Ireland or second, third or fourth in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase in Ireland 
 
About 3 miles 1 furlong 22 yards
 
€90 to enter, €10 extra if declared to run 
Weights: 5-y-o..................................... 11st 6lbs 
6-y-o and up................................................12st 
Mares allowed.............................................7lbs 
Riders: Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. 

† A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2025/2026 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Offices of The INHSC, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than 21st January, 2026 or the horse will not be qualified to start.
