Outstanding Aintree Sale Catalogue Confirmed for Thursdays Sale

A total of 31 horses have been confirmed for the Goffs Aintree Sale which will be held this Thursday 9 April after racing at Aintree’s Randox Health Grand National Festival.

An established outlet for Grade 1 stars, today’s second round of 15 entries confirms the final catalogue for the 2026 sale which boasts an outstanding line-up of pointers and bumper horses. The list of initial entries released last week can be found here and the most recent horses added to the sale today are:

Whiskeyontherocks (4YO F by Doyen), winner of her most recent PTP for Robert Tector at Curraghmore.

Twin Flame (4YO F by Walk In The Park), placed second to Whiskeyontherocks on her debut PTP for Daniel Murphy at Curraghmore.

Lead Officer (4YO G by Planteur), winner of his debut PTP for Jonathan Fogarty at Curraghmore.

Crystal Wings (4YO G by Crystal Ocean), placed second to Lead Officer on his debut PTP for Robert Tector at Curraghmore.

Common Sense (5YO G by Workforce), the 18-length winner of his most recent PTP for Robert Tector at Loughanmore.

Magnifaik (4YO F by Buck’s Boum), winner of her debut PTP for Max Kendrick at Eyton.

Imperator Furiosa (4YO F by Blue Bresil), the winner of her debut PTP for Matthew Flynn O'Connor at Ballyknock.

Holshot
(5YO G by Pastorius), the 11-length winner of his most recent PTP for Sam Curling at Ballyknock.

Stromy Wind (4YO G by Choeur Du Nord), placed a neck second on his debut PTP for Denis Murphy at Ballyknock.

The Athenry Man (4YO G by Sumbal), placed second on his debut PTP for Liam Gilligan at Belclare.

Mourne Maid (4YO F by Yeats), placed a close second on her debut PTP for Patrick Turley at Loughanmore.

Minella Tornado (5YO G by Harzand), placed second on his debut PTP for John Nallen at Ballynoe.

Berkstar (4YO G by Berkshire), placed second on his debut PTP for Michael Murphy at Kirkstown.

Lexington Flyer (4YO G by Order Of St George), placed a close second on his debut PTP for Stuart Crawford at Loughanmore.

Theemeraldempress (4YO F by Walk In The Park), finished a close second on her debut PTP for Sean Doyle at Loughanmore.

The Goffs Aintree Sale will be held at Aintree Racecourse on the opening day of the Randox Health Grand National Festival – this Thursday 9 April. The sale will be held in the winners’ enclosure after the last race on the card (last race 5.15pm).
