Stephen Connor enjoyed his best season to date in 2018, ending the campaign with five winners, just over two years after his first success aboard Caitlin Brook at Rockfield in November 2015, a horse owned by his father John and trained by Pat Doyle. A successful partnership with Tim Hyde has seen him ride both Whisperinthebreeze and £250,000 seller Brewinupastorm to win four-year-old maiden's, whilst he has also guided Kelp Forest and Planet Nine to win bumpers for Hyde. Ahead of the start of the 2019/20 campaign, Connor relocated to Northern Ireland winning aboard £330,000 seller Ballyadam during his time with Colin McKeever.
