Daire McConville hails from a well-known family within northern point-to-points, with their Anseanachai Cliste crowned Champion Pointer in 2016. McConville made his debut at Moira in November 2015, but it was the 2017/18 season which was a year to remember for him, as not only did he ride his first winner, He Knows My Name, at that same course in December 2017, but he also went on to record a treble at his local course in Farmacaffley. He Knows My Name, Longtymegone and Celtic Thunder provided that initial treble. During the 2021/22 season, McConville teamed up with trainer Kerry Lee and joined the conditional ranks.
