Jack Foley rode a total of 11 times in his first season, the 2017/18 campaign, the first of which came for Donnchadh Doyle, aboard Duc De Grissay in a five-year-old maiden at Punchestown in February 2018. The Carlow native, who has spent time working in England for both Nicky Henderson and Jonjo O'Neill, enjoyed his first success in the saddle aboard the Ellen Doyle-trained Acceptable Risk in an older maiden at Lingstown in November 2019.
