Eight months after making his competitive debut in the Amateur Derby at the Curragh, Dan Nevin, who has worked for Champion Trainer Willie Mullins, rode in his first point-to-point aboard Cheeky Rafeeky at Borris House in March 2019. Within a year of that initial outing between the flags, the Kilkenny native got off the mark when teaming up with Philip Rothwell's Lawlor's Choice - winning a mares' maiden at Tinahely in February 2020. 2021 proved notable for a number of reasons - in April he recorded his first track success when American trainer Keri Brion's Scorpion's Revenge won a Bumper, swiftly followed by a memorable victory in the Maryland Hunt Cup aboard Vintage Vinne for Joe Davis.
