Darragh Higgins made his point-to-point debut at Kildorrery when teaming up with Colin Motherway to ride Bessy Boru in the winner-of-three contest. Since relocating to Wexford, he gained a first success with the victory of Ellen Doyle's Haddock De Grissay in October 2022, before riding a first four-year-old maiden winner later that month courtesy of the Mick Murphy-trained Ask Anything at Loughbrickland.
