Brian Barry who spent time on the Irish Pony Racing circuit, winning close to 30 races, had his first ride between the flags aboard the Jimmy Mangan-trained Holly Eile at Dromahane in October 2020.  The Conna native, who is a brother of point-to-point rider Johnny Barry, enjoyed his first success on the track at Listowel when John Ryan's Father Jed won a QR Handicap Chase in September 2021, with a first victory in the pointing fields following at his local Boulta fixture on Burning Ambition in November 2021.
