Cathal Persse

Cathal Persse made his point-to-point debut at Curraghmore in October 2021 aboard the Charles Persse trained General Ryan. Cathal made his racecourse debut at Limerick aboard the Philip Fenton trained Bergentown in December 2021. Persse is from a prolific racing background, his father charles Persse is a point-to-point handler and Cathal's mother Aileen is the secretary for the Kilmoganny point-to-point. Cathal's Brother Alan Persse is a flat Jockey riding for Joseph O'Brien.
