Charlotte Butler

The daughter of Newmarket trainer John Butler, Charlotte has followed in the footsteps of her mother Emily by taking out an amateur rider's license, and it was aboard her father's Split Elevens that she recorded her first success in a flat handicap at Southwell in March 2023. Since crossing the Irish Sea, she has enjoyed further success on the racecourse, riding So Des Flos to win a pair of ladies handicap chases at Fairyhouse for Gordon Elliott, including the Ladies National in March 2024. In the pointing fields, she has ridden for the likes of Harley Dunne, Aidan Fitzgerald, and Shark Hanlon.
